Convert a still image to PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Optionally resize it, choose compression quality, or replace transparency with a solid color for JPEG.
Server processing: your image is uploaded to Btech3 and returned as a download. Keep the whole request below 500 MiB and the source below 80 million pixels. Animated inputs become the first frame only.
Choose the right output
PNG: use it for screenshots, diagrams, and sharp text, especially with transparency. JPEG: use it for photographs when a smaller file matters more than exact pixels. WebP: use it when your destination supports it and you want a choice of lossy or lossless compression.
A resizing example
A 4000 × 3000 photograph resized to a width of 1200 with aspect ratio preserved becomes 1200 × 900. Choosing both 1200 × 1200 still produces 1200 × 900; it does not stretch the photo into a square.
The converter applies the image’s orientation and omits source metadata such as EXIF from its output. It does not perform color-managed print conversion. Keep your original if you need animation, camera metadata, or precise color profiles. A conversion cannot recover detail already lost to compression.
