Practical answers about using Btech3. For settings and examples, see the tool guides.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
No. All tools on this site work without an account or a paid plan. Server-based tools have limits to keep the service available.
Which tools upload my files?
Video and PDF tools upload your selected files. Image conversion and QR generation also use the server. All other tools, including the résumé and invoice builders, process input in your browser. Each page labels its processing method.
Why is a video rejected even though it is under 200 MiB?
It must also be at most 2000 pixels wide and high, no more than 30 fps, and no longer than three minutes. Corrupt files, unusual codecs and jobs exceeding processing limits can be rejected too. A proxy may have a smaller upload limit.
Is video conversion lossless?
No. MP4/MKV use H.264 and AAC, and WebM uses VP9 and Opus. These video presets re-encode with lossy compression. Audio extraction to WAV uses uncompressed PCM, but cannot restore information already lost in a compressed source.
Where are my video and PDF downloads?
Keep the processing tab open. A download button appears when the job finishes. The private access key stays in that page’s memory; reloading loses it. Results expire one hour after submission. Cancel and delete files requests earlier removal.
Can I upload a password-protected PDF?
No. This toolkit accepts unencrypted PDFs and processes static pages. Forms, annotations, signatures and bookmarks are not preserved. Keep originals and inspect every resulting page.
How do I save a résumé or invoice as a PDF?
Update the preview, choose Print / save PDF, then select the browser’s PDF destination. Turn off the browser’s headers and footers and check all pages. Download a JSON draft as well if you want to edit it later.
Are drafts saved automatically?
No. Browser-based tools do not automatically save your input. Download results or editable drafts before closing or reloading the page. Drafts may contain personal information; store them privately.
Can I use these tools on a phone?
The forms and navigation adapt to small screens. Document previews can scroll horizontally, while printing uses a separate page layout. Large images and files still need device memory, so smaller inputs can work better.
Why does a CSV exported to a spreadsheet contain apostrophes?
Formula protection is enabled by default: cells beginning with formula-like characters are prefixed with an apostrophe. This helps prevent spreadsheet software from executing imported formulas. Disable it only for data you trust.
Can I send a file URL instead of uploading?
No. The video and PDF tools accept file uploads only. They do not fetch remote URLs or accept arbitrary FFmpeg commands.
Will support email me back?
The contact form saves your message and reply address for the operator to review. Replies are sent manually by email; response times are not guaranteed. The receipt code identifies your request. Do not include passwords or sensitive documents.
How do I report incorrect output?
Use the contact form with the tool name, browser, chosen settings, expected result and what actually happened. A small non-sensitive example helps reproduce the issue. Keep your original files until you have checked the output.
How long is information kept?
Video/PDF files are temporary for up to one hour, with deletion performed by the worker or cleanup task. Support requests are removed after 90 days by cleanup. Essential session cookies protect forms; details about logs, providers and email are in the privacy policy.
